More progress on the Pixelfed app!

Gosh this feels so much faster and cleaner 😎

Can’t wait to ship this, now it’s open sourced we can target F-Droid and more!

(Don’t expect me to merge every PR though, I have a solid vision for the app and you may be better off forking it)

@robb He's so adorable, it was the perfect demo post for the screenshot!

@dansup Hi, just wanted to report You that something bad happens on android mobile app (web works fine), it looks... empty 😅

edit: also, I can't access settings to tell You wich exactly version it is, but it's the latest build that was accessible via Update feature

@dansup
Will the app also support the collections? The app I downloaded a while ago, that you shared here, has no support for collections yet. But the web app that I got from the Pixelfed let's me add to collections. I just can't actually see the collections in that app yet. 😊
Hope this makes sense to you.
I'm really enjoying Pixelfed so thanks for all the hard work! 🌸

@dansup I'm happy to see there will be more than just landscape dimensions in the feed.

@dansup I love the last sentence. Open source doesn’t necessarily mean “democracy” and it shouldn’t. It’s _your_ labor of love, it can simultaneously be that and open source

@dansup Did you forget to add a license? It's not FOSS without a license (and F-Droid wouldn't accept the app without one).

dansup

@panosalevropoulos Yes, will push that shortly, thanks for the reminder!

Edit: Done! Hello AGPL 😎

Martin Marconcini

@dansup where is the repo? I'd like to look at it if possible. Thanks.

@dansup gosh I missed it, because I was somehow looking for "Android" in the title! In my limited defense I have to admit I'm just sipping my morning coffee. ;)
