Uh oh. I just realized I need to make an actual March Madness-style bracket to keep track of the various Doots-inspired town names as they advance through the polls.
For me, that means busting out actual pen and paper. So Round 2 may be delayed a few hours.

I am having a very hard time tryna figure out how to organize this Doots March Madness bracket in a way that is fair and also fun & exciting. Do I pit B-endings (ie, Dootsbury) and H-endings (ie, Dootsheim) against each other, respectively, first?

Do I pit towns that won their poll w/a majority against those that won w/a mere plurality first?

I can’t wrap my head around it; the #ADHD bees in my head are resisting.

I don’t know what y’all expect from someone who gets syrup on their pants. 😂

OH NO I DID A DUMB.

There are FIVE winners left from Round 3 of March Madness: Doots-o-mania!

How should we handle the polls going forward? A poll on my instance can be only 1-4 choices. Do I split it with one poll of 2, and one poll of three? Bring back one of the “losers” from Round 3 where it was a close race? Or something else? I’m open to suggestions!

Welcome to Round 4 of March Madness: Dootstravaganza!

We getting down to the wire now. I sort of took @pencilears suggestion and brought back a close loser from Round 3 to even things out--but I took into consideration how each loser in Round 3 fared throughout AND how their competition fared. This may frustrate some of you. But I can't please everyone, not even myself, as my #1 choice also did not make it through Round 3, & I have no way to justify letting them through.

Also this was starting to feel really complicated and stressing me out, and I had to remember THIS IS ALL JUST FOR FUN; a silly whim I had one day.
