 I've continued to work on #osm2gmaps app over the last two weeks, and it should appear on #FDroid in the next few days 🥳 It converts links from #OSM-based applications to #GoogleMaps, #AppleMaps, #MagicEarth, (tell me more please). And after @glowl's comment, it can also do the opposite! I've also set up https://mapu.retiolus.net, which can be activated in the settings, if needed, to resolve certain short links from Google Maps without going through their servers. 10 comments
@panigrc still not available on F-Droid, comming in a few days, you can download it on git release page: https://codeberg.org/retiolus/osm2gmaps/releases Translated to French, Spanish and Catalan ✅ Now available on F-Droid: https://f-droid.org/packages/net.retiolus.osm2gmaps/ The code is certainly not very "professional", the UI needs to be reviewed, but it's probably the first time I am having fun with Android development. The next version 0.4.0 will include an 'About' page and a button to get the location without having to open another application. **Awesome,** what a great app. So useful for everyone who uses OSM based apps. Thanks a million for creating it and sharing it over F-Droid. |

Oh, my! Thank you so much for this app! I was looking for it for so long.
Unfortunately apps like #OsmAnd don't have the feature to share a #GoogleMaps link but only Geo link.
And my friends are always annoyed because of course #GMaps can't understand them.
By the way the URL you got in your Codeberg repository (https://f-droid.org/packages/net.retiolus.osm2gmaps/) gives me 404 Page not found
