@BryanLastRedDrop @RealGene @nixCraft they know but it also helps them sell more advertising on their platform. Money is involved. They have zero desire to fix it.

Yes, of course they do, but it increases "engagement", and artificially boosts user numbers and ad clicks, which they use to show to the rubes/advertisers that ads work.
