@frameworkcomputer some managers need training on remote administration, but this is mostly a cultural issue that cannot be fixed without boardmember buyin. Good luck making them change / taking away their special building where they get to feel important all day.
That official policy is unhinged. Maybe shareholders should take action against these crazy companies? Metrics consistently show wfh is efficient; these people are serving their egos, not shareholders/ customers
@cykonot @frameworkcomputer The year that almost everyone at my office (I think finance, HR, facilities, and security had to come in) worked from home, productivity actually went up. Near the end, our department decided to allow teams to choose whether to be in office or remote permanently. Enough teams chose the latter that they rented the building out and moved those that chose to stay in office to another building
