 @adhdeanasl @liztai it frustrates me that it’s built on the false assumption that everyone is complicit and everyone is in the position to do something useful. I am so so tired of speaking up being treated as inherently virtuous and required regardless of whether the person being demanded to speak knows what they’re talking about or has access to an audience that needs to hear about the topic @joannaholman Yes, the whole “if you say nothing, you’re one of them” thing. Not every issue is the Third Reich exterminating the Jews. Sure, there’s a lot of bad stuff out there, but can we take a break from the constant apocalypse mentality? I’m tired. @liztai |
@joannaholman @adhdeanasl Only way to manage is to mute, filter and block. Thank God Mastodon has these features. Don't think I can be here otherwise.
