@gideonstar I care because I want *everyone* to love pixelfed, and I want to be able to squash any negative feedback by implementing suggestions when appropriate. Every voice matters, even the ones that disagree with me, and it's my job as the project lead to put aside my own biases and ego and approach the feedback from a neutral and understanding perspective. While I wrote most of the code, a lot of it was influenced by people like you!

@dansup @gideonstar Dan I want to be careful about how I say this because it's with love and I care about pixelfed a lot and want to see it thrive, and I can see you're getting defensive as some (hopefully well intentioned) comments can be critical. the amount of work you're doing is incredible, not just on pixelfed, and you have many great ideas. the vision is clearly there. but you're also going in ten directions at once which must be exhausting.
