@kava Are you comparing that to black and white or other color negative film? Or do you mean that it looks better one stop overexposed?

I really think it’s just the perfect film for Portraits, Indoor. but I changed to Cinestill 400 recently and don’t regret it :) this one gives me the look i was hoping for instantly, no clour correction, just plain scan from the lab |

the color negative. I recently shot 2 Gallery openings with the portra. all the portraits of the visitors under good light with small aperture looked great. the wider shots with open aperture nearly had any detail. I wouldn’t push the portra - I see so much grain already.
