@tess And I'm in the market for a big fucking truck, but not the kind they're selling. Except I'm not looking for a city rig, I'm looking for a camper/rancher special: Doesn't matter how fast it gets there, it matters that it can stop and that it can carry a large volume of something heavy, like a slide-in camper, or a lot of camping gear. I'm outdoorsy and would go backpacking from a trailhead I got to in a chevy sprint. my husband is not. Truck bed camping is the compromise.

Also not available yet, since the camper/rancher special is now the largest van that will fit in a full size (22'x7') parking space, is... the largest van that will fit in a full size parking space, but EV, which is weird since that'd a battery van would also be perfect for tradesmen who are mostly parked anyway, working out of the van, but also perfect for tour camping since it's not going to go offroad and is going to be used where RV or boat hookups are either available or real nearby...
