EDIT: Shipped! https://pixelfed.blog/p/2024/feature/introducing-curated-onboarding ✨ Pixelfed + Curated Onboarding Admins: All you need to do to enable this once it's shipped is to navigate to the Admin dashboard -> Settings page and toggle the "Registration Status" setting, then tap "Save" No .env changes or cli commands required. Shouldn't everything be this easy? Most of it is with @pixelfed 😉 3 comments

@Brendanjones @pixelfed Wow, thanks! When I first read this I thought you meant I need to learn to improve my changelog/release announcements and I was about to say I update the changelog after every commit since 2020, but you meant the opposite! Thank you, haha, I mean I could improve so many things about my open source management, I don't think I should be a role model but I digress, thank you 😊

@dansup @pixelfed I think all software creators should be required to take a class with you on how to write clear release notes / share tips / keep people up to date on the roadmap and the status of upcoming features.
I’m not even on Pixelfed but I follow you just because I enjoy watching the progress.
