I have a ton of friends on there and know the admins. @iamada @ShadowJonathan note the instance was created as a gag in 2018, when no one expected the Taliban to win and the registry was being managed from New Zealand  @ShadowJonathan as long as your server thinks it's queer.af, it should probably go alright? and that's done easily with /etc/hosts @ShadowJonathan the bigger problem is the users to log in will also have to think it's queer.af, and that means teaching them about hosts or hooking up an alternate dns @ShadowJonathan Shit. @ShadowJonathan thanks, I have blocked and deleted that instance from my end  LB π Unfortunately if you're a Mastodon instance offering to help members of queer.af to migrate to your server, editing /etc/hosts to manually add the IP address won't help, because Mastodon uses its own DNS resolver that bypasses /etc/hosts.
