Grasmere Bench I was heading back to the car as it was starting to rain. I spotted this bench as I hurried past. I decided to head back and grab this shot. I've actually been back a few times to try to better it, but each time the conditions just haven't been as good. #photomonday #fotoMontag #Fotografie #photography #landscapePhotography Coniston Jetty in Blue Took this shot before sunrise during the blue hour. I'd hoped for more atmospheric conditions at sunrise but despite the forecast the weather was blue skies and became relatively mist free. A new location, that I will revisit with different conditions. Borrowdale Watermill - near Honistor Pass This one takes a bit of finding and when the stream is a full as this it involves getting wet feet to get the right composition. #landscapephotography #silentsunday #photography #fotoMontag #photomonday Duke of Portland Boathouse - Ullswater Another from yesterday. A location that will need another visit as the light/conditions weren't as good as they could be. I'm glad I got autumn colour though. Snow covered Langdales from Blea Tarn I took this on Thursday, the snow cover took me by surprise. A heavy shower had just moved across the Langdale fells and then the sun came out - it took me a moment to realise that the reason the mountains were so bright was because of the snow. @pgaskell Blea Tarn is one of my favourite places. I really should get organised and go and visit my friends in Windermere! Horses in the late afternoon sun. Took these earlier today, very close to home. I spotted these two horses amongst the trees just as the sun was gettng low in the sky. @pgaskell @sharongascoigne I would enjoy resting there for awhile, instead I’ll let my mind rest there for a few moments looking at this photo. Thank you. Twr Mawr Lighthouse - Ynys Llanddwyn (island of the blessed), Anglesey Taken just over an hour before sunset.

@pgaskell Beautiful. I love it there. Ynys Llanddwyn means "Island of the Church of Dwynwen". Or more accurately, llan means a sacred enclosure as eglwys is church. |
