(kicking at the ground) i thought i made a nice prototype. it even did parallax scrolling. whatever charli. i’m sure the icelandic courts will be super understanding to elon in the discrimination case. thinking about if there's any hope for the <map> tag to not be shit. got a lil idea and it makes sense but it feels...haunted to use an image map in 2023. america has many, many flaws. but goddamn if the over-the-counter cold medicine here isn’t the best. dayquil will forcefully hallucinate the virus clean outta you. it doesn’t mess around. @samhenrigold im a big proponent of NyQuil. I always purchase 4-6 before I head back to Europe. just thought you should know that those afterpay lockups that plague the web are all under a `afterpay-placement` html tag. which makes it really easy to add to your adblocker. anyway. just a fun little thing to add to your ublock list: *#$#afterpay-placement{display:none!important;}

@samhenrigold Similarly… @samhenrigold thanks! I’ve had to update my profile on every social media platform I’m a member of 😂 something with the youtube algorithm changed cause now i'm getting recommended the most random shit with, like, no views. here's the FOURTH video on the front page for me. @samhenrigold absolutely fucking up your recommendations like that is a sign you're doing the internet right. I don't want a website to know me. @samhenrigold I still laugh at the thought of it recommending a football CHANNEL to me when I've watched sports in maybe 0.00000000001% of my thousands of hours on YouTube. I'll tell you something that bugs me way more than it should: when websites have all-caps text hard-coded into the string when `text-transform` should've been used. You are the reason I had to rewrite whatever in lowercase. @samhenrigold I've forgotten where I recently heard about it, but maybe convertcase.net could be useful for you? 🙂 okay i've seen what i've needed to see with ai. it's neat. we can turn it off now. pack it up. go home. @samhenrigold

@samhenrigold if they DO bitch about it: they'll mention how terrible and woke Apple is, and post it to Tweeter from an iPhone. @samhenrigold this post has done psychic damage to me, expect a call from my personal injury lawyer are you even a real designer if you don’t grind the corners of a pop tart to a rounded rect before eating it @samhenrigold I was going to reply "what's stopping you from coding like this" with a picture of a bread that's totally covered in mold, but I got too grossed out looking at the search results. i ran out of bourbon last night, anyone have any recommendations on what to get next? open to trying new ones.

@samhenrigold Eagle Rare, which isn’t easy to find lately, is worth giving a try. A 10yr bourbon without the cost of one. Websites from EXACTLY 2011 have a vibe. Elements have a gradient, top highlights, inner shadows, and a bit of noise grain. HTML5 is used but text is still crammed into pngs at 1x pixel scale. Life is simpler. <header> ...maybe for good measure |
