Huge numbers of suspicious sign-ups on mas.to this evening from similar IP ranges. Remember this happened across the fediverse a few months ago? I've temporarily halted sign-ups and will block (and share) the IP ranges tomorrow. #mastoadmin  @rodti Damn I was hoping you'd start seeing more sign-ups because of the joinmastodon.org improvements If I had better database skills I’d maybe find a way to interrogate the instance DB for a list of all IP addresses associated with suspended accounts, sort to see the worst offenders and block on the server at IP (or even subnet) level. #mastoadmin Has anyone found a way to get the v3.2.0 CORS request requirement working with Wasabi? I see that while they don't fully support CORS, they do say on this page that: "The following are the HTTP headers returned by default when the header “Origin” is given in an HTTP request:" And those headers include the one required by the v3.2.0 audio player. I have an absolute ton of data on Wasabi so reluctant to shift it just for this one issue. Any help appreciated! I would like to say as a matter of public record that when I last checked (22:35BST 31-05-2020j masto.posweg.es has 157 users and has restricted new registrations. I could really do with a good Spanish-speaking moderator right now. Any help appreciated! #mastoadmin |
