@Gargron mas.to has had between 4k-5k new users in the last 24ish hours. About an hour ago many of them were tooting in the public timeline that they were all going to move to masto.posweg.es. I wanted to compare the before and after user count so the timestamps help, particularly with ongoing tracking.
@Gargron “But why are they all leaving having just joined your instance?” you quite rightly ask. Everyone was using verified emoji in their usernames and I got sick of it and turned it off,. They’re now looking for instances with verified emoji!
