@gamingonlinux That's huge. Goes to show that SteamDeck actually has influence on them & sales to those users have reached a critical point @gamingonlinux OMG Division 2 yes! Can't wait. Been playing Division 1 on steamdeck since I got mine and it works great. I think I had to switch Proton to the beta version to get it to skip the Ubisoft login. @gamingonlinux finally gaming on linux is getting the much needed love and attention we've been asking for years. i am looking forward to see the software becoming more and more developed which has been around for a while, but is finicky as fuck till steamdeck. @gamingonlinux Iโm more concerned about its support like future updates/patches after its release and how well the customer service is from China. @gamingonlinux mine no longer smells ๐ญ After ssd upgrade it has lost the lovely steamdeck smell. @gamingonlinux I must confess I do that regularly too. Mostly during loading times. Mine is not that smelly anymore but the hot air flow on the upper lip always feels nice Bluetooth support for the Stadia Controller is now live. @gamingonlinux just flashed mine on fedora, worked flawlessly only needing to use chrome was annoying. u-dev rule is understandable, but might be problematic for some users. @gamingonlinux I managed to update my Stadia controller to use bluetooth, but I can not for the life of me make it work under Steam. I assume I might need to do something to map the controller correctly, but for instance playing ARK I could not get the aiming to work, although I could move around using the controller. GameImage turns games, emulators and Wine into an AppImage - useful perhaps for Steam Deck https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2023/01/gameimage-steam-deck-emulators-wine/

If this handles the sort of old games that sorely need a community patch to run acceptably (eg Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines) this could be the start of a big deal for Linux distros in the Steam hardware survey generally. This looks close to merging "modded PC gaming" with "push cartridge into console and turn on to start playing". I'd love to just start playing Morrowind or Deus Ex with QoL mods and .ini edits like it was Streets of Rage 2 on a Mega Drive. The Division 2 launched on Steam but no support of Steam Deck or Linux

@gamingonlinux Interesting... I may need to look at this... Is it a "Gaming on Linux" game? Ie. does it decently run on Linux from the info you have?
@gamingonlinux I see it is "Windows" but that may work with Steamdeck, or other ways of running Windows content on a Linux environment.
