@gamingonlinux
That assumes IGN's opinions are worthwhile.

@gamingonlinux Cool! A good opportunity to get Disco Elysium without giving any money to the evil company that fucked over the creators.

Just click on Adjust donations, and then Custom and drag the charity slider all the way to the top.

@gamingonlinux Oooh, Wildermyth! One of those way too unknown gems! Bought it on itch a long long time ago.

Haven't seen other Linux sites report this fully so reposting: NVIDIA released multiple new drivers, due to a security issue they revealed yesterday - gamingonlinux.com/2023/10/nvid

Please RT / Boost so people are aware

@gamingonlinux Fuck nvidia!

Why people want to run FOSS on hardware the mfg doesn't want to is beyond me.

@gamingonlinux glad to be switching over to AMD radeon very soon!

@gamingonlinux Just yesterday I friend of mine was talking about how cool the game looked.

I then decided to watch the trailer and oh my god.

Now, we're planning to buy the family pack to play with the rest.

P.S: I've also saw your name as a reviewer in the trailer.

@gamingonlinux This post reminded me that I wanted to try this game, and after watching some trailers and seeing the update history, I decided to buy the "family" 4 pack. I'm playing single player at the moment but I am very excited to gift the 3 copies to my friends and get a server fired up! It's a blast!

Sounds good, but the only Steam Family Sharing update I want to see is:

- No longer locking the ENTIRE library if a family member is playing a completely different game to what you want to play

That has always pissed me off about it.

@gamingonlinux
When family sharing was first introduced this used to be the case, it would only ever lock out the individual game being played, the problem was people abused the system as just a way of making a super-library with friends. It really was a perfect example of a few people ruining a great thing for everyone else. So unfortunately, it's not getting changed.

@gamingonlinux sadly not gonna happen. Had to buy enough games twice for steam not to miss out on those profits 😔

Michael

@gamingonlinux I found that if someone is playing a game already with my shared steam library, I can play a game without booting them out

So are PCGamesN just turning into a content farm now? Seeing a huge increase of stuff like this all over…

I think my April Fools article for 2024 will be 8 paragraphs on how to put in an SD Card.

mcstaggers

@gamingonlinux Yeah, been like that for a while. Some more "great" info here: network-n.com/

Richard

@gamingonlinux I laugh at this, but sometimes I also spend five minutes fumbling around and wondering why my SD card won't go in because I have it backwards.

@gamingonlinux Going to let these bake for a week or two. I'm hoping maybe FINALLY that they fixed the control panel under Wayland, which is totally broken.

@gamingonlinux Good to know. Thanks! CC: @theJoshMeister since he's my go-to guy for security stuff.
