Flaky

@gamingonlinux Huh. I just dusted off my old Roblox account last night, and then this happens. Weird twist of fate lol.

CEbbinghaus

@gamingonlinux that is the least they could do with their child labour and shady business practices

@gamingonlinux it's good to see Roblox investing in the tools infrastructure, even though their business model is a little gross (I say as a Roblox family where we all play)

@gamingonlinux I think they are doing gamers disservice with not having the option with holoiso out of the box. They could of sold a version with holoiso and a version of windows 11 instead of just windows 11.

@gamingonlinux apart from the guns part, this is obviously the Pokemon game people have been waiting for... they won't be able to prevent people to mod this now it is out there.

@gamingonlinux fingers crossed that Nintendo gets them and the crypto bro devs get btfo

@gamingonlinux If Nintendo actually meant to do anything about Palworld, I suspect they would have done so when the trailer dropped.
Ultimately, I think they're kind of stuck because despite it being the best known, Pokemon is itself not terribly original.

Hi, it's been a while but gonna test my new Movemaster in The Finals live on Twitch: twitch.tv/gamingonlinux

Curiously, again, a fair few items in the changelog were from a previous version <_<

Not as bad as previous driver changelogs, were they entirely copy-pasted, but still a good few were in previous drivers.

@gamingonlinux Honestly, if this fixes the screen blanking VRR issue on Pascal GPUs, that's groundbreaking. My Benq EX2510 on a 1080 Ti would always go far below the refresh range on loading screens, so much so I had to do a custom EDID to up the VRR range to 55-144hz.

@gamingonlinux would it be wrong to assume a healthy part of those players are there just as a way to say BigN to get bent?

@gamingonlinux Man that makes me feel so removed from the "mainstream".

It's like someone took everything i hate and made it a game:

- meaningless open world
- crafting
- repetitive survival gameplay
- grinding
- boring combat
- superfluous monster catching

I can't wrap my head around its success...

This game is stupid. Stupid fun! I've probably put 15 hours in since yesterday. What a silly fun, cute game. And I had no issues aside from performance in some laggy areas. Used the steam Proton 7. I do have a pretty beefy Linux desktop.

@gamingonlinux it truely surprises me that a 3D pokemon mmo has never been made. Go was the closest we got to it .

RAWRLAB, are they also the creators of the elusive WinRAWR? ๐Ÿ˜

Too bad it's the kind of game that's really hard to defend purchasing. Buying it blind is very high risk because it's unlike anything anyone knows. And it's simple enough that most people will be able to get tired of playing from the demo alone.

That makes the group of people who have a gameplay reason to buy it very small. I suspect that most people who buy it do so to support the genre. Which is a great reason, sure, but usually not one that pays a lot of bills.

@gamingonlinux i love the idea of this game but fuck this is literally a full time job. I guess people who play truck simulators also would love this.
