@gamingonlinux I think Palworld's success opened the AI asset-flip flood gates. We'll see LOT more of this from now on. Nintendo will sue them into the ground for copyright infringement. Jokes aside, all the Soulslikes look pretty similar to me as well, there's no actual proof at all that Palworld uses AI beyond just the internet revving itself up over the scandal of the week and if Palworld had infringed on anything at all, Nintendo would have imploded them years ago because they're worse than IBM. @gamingonlinux this looks like generative AI rip off without any soul. @gamingonlinux ~ player.modav CarryWeight 9999 because encumbrances isnโt a fun or good mechanic KONAMI update the METAL GEAR SOLID Steam collection with Steam Deck support https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2024/01/konami-update-the-metal-gear-solid-steam-collection-with-steam-deck-support/ GE-Proton 8-28 released with ULWGL support for non-steam games https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2024/01/ge-proton-8-28-released-with-ulwgl-support-for-non-steam-games/ The original SteamOS-like Linux distro HoloISO now dead, replaced with immutable version https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2024/01/the-original-steamos-like-linux-distro-holoiso-now-dead-replaced-with-immutable-version/ SteamOS-like ChimeraOS 45 released with HDR & controller support for many more handhelds https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2024/01/steamos-like-chimeraos-45-released-with-hdr-controller-support-for-many-more-handhelds/ Wine 9.1 released starting off another year of development https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2024/01/wine-91-released-starting-off-another-year-of-development/ Relaxing settlement builder with simulated citizens Folklands now has a demo https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2024/01/relaxing-settlement-builder-with-simulated-citizens-folklands-now-has-a-demo/ Former dev on Stardew Valley reveals their life-sim Sunkissed City https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2024/01/former-dev-on-stardew-valley-reveals-their-life-sim-sunkissed-city/ Flathub now has over one million active users https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2024/01/flathub-now-has-over-one-million-active-users/ @gamingonlinux I refuse to use snaps but my order for getting apps is: 1. @gamingonlinux Liam a buddy of mine asked me if he should buy a steam deck. I had concerns regarding the battery life but I wanted to also hear from somebody that has more knowledge. Would you recommend a steam deck and if so, do you know how much battery life one gets?
