@gamingonlinux thankfully?!. It shouldn't have ads for start.

@gamingonlinux Also, in related news: I'm replacing MailStore Server with Piler Muti-tenant, not because MailStore isn't an excellent product or is failing in any way, but because it runs on Windows and Piler let's me host on Linux.

Also, UPDATE:
The MailStore server had completely died when I came in this morning and I can't even boot from the Windows install media. So now recovering by spinning up a new Windows VM to attach the hard drive to.

@gamingonlinux I recently bought an #Asus #Zephyrus G14, hoping to have one laptop for work, hobbies and light gaming (dual-boot). How disappointed I was to find that #Linux is almost unusable on this machine (fuck #Nvidia). I tried to adapt to #Windows because most of the software I need is available for Windows. But Windows is so disgusting, I don't understand how anyone can choose Windows. Linux desktop environments are simply superior to Windows (or #MacOS for that matter). Linux FTW.

@gamingonlinux Kudos to Microsoft. Ten years after the acquisition, Java edition is still a thing and is pretty much equal to Bedrock in terms of gameplay features. There was always the worry they would drop it.

@gamingonlinux it is a great game, but a bit repetitive and is even repeating its own tropes. But worth a scarethrough during Halloween.

@gamingonlinux having a blast with the first game, still, given that I only moderately spend time on Games nowadays. That one ended up amazingly optimized!
And it looks like this wait time will only mean that when I eventually get to Forbidden West, it will all just be more polished.

@gamingonlinux I've heard that XeSS don't work on Linux because of driver differences...

@gamingonlinux please don't spread their refund policy. It's mostly just a wish from their end as your local laws might not care about things like playtime or even "refund policies" in the first.

@gamingonlinux
IMO it should be the other way around - consumers should be able to refund early access games anytime during this stage, and Steam should allow another 2h of playtime after full release. It's early access - consumers are testers, what if game turn to be a dud or stuck in ea forever? IMO this change shifts responsibility to consumer over unfinished product. It's not fair.

@gamingonlinux Iā€™m kind of a jaded bored gamer these days. This list was an awesome pick me up! Looking forward to buying 90% of these soon!

@gamingonlinux I noticed that scaling on my 4K monitor is much improved. Steam has always been an outlier in this regard, so I'm glad that it's better now.

Are Steam forum post reply notifications just not happening for anyone else lately?

Only just noticed going back over a few, i'm definitely subscribed to them and they've all had replies...but no notifications.

@gamingonlinux Broken DKIM/DMARC on the emails causing them to go to spam or be bounced by your provider altogether maybe? Google changed their minimum bar recently if you use them for your mail.

@gamingonlinux Half the time my comments on a Steam forum are smart ass and I don't really want to see the reply.
