Ducked out for a quick lunchtime walk and spotted these cuties! Haven’t noticed them in my part of #melbourne before My nephew Winston has had his dinner so is now enjoying getting in the way of other people’s dinner Imagine what ancient Egyptian rulers having pictures of beloved palace cats etched onto walls would have thought if they'd known one day in the very distant future even peasants could easily show pictures of their cats to strangers well beyond the realm of the kingdom.... I’ve been babysitting Boston whose greatest love is sitting on the balcony judging the neighbours as they pass Victorians: If you own your home and haven’t looked into the hot water system rebate scheme make sure you do. I got my heat pump hot water system installed through it last year. It only cost me $400 (would have been free if I didn’t need an urgent appointment due to my existing system breaking) and my energy usage dropped substantially. Mine was done by Ecovantage, I was really happy with their service doing the initial install and fixing a subsequent fault. @joannaholman I can confirm, my heat pump hot water system is excellent! I have solar so look at my usage graphs regularly and electricity usage is barely perceptible @joannaholman @joannaholman yup! I upgraded from bottled gas, so mine wasn't free, but so much cheaper than gas to run, and the noise is similar or less than your usual split system aircon. Today I learned the largest technically possible PDF file is 381 km × 381 km which is this big

This #caturday I’m babysitting Boston, the fluffiest cat I’ve ever met. He is extremely soft, like I imagine patting a cloud would be…. An opinionated cloud who likes demanding breakfast at 5:30am Gave my sister’s kitten catnip bubbles for Christmas and I think they’ve broken his brain a little @joannaholman As much as I find SSS useful, the app isn’t that consistently efficient everywhere, and it drives ‘power users’ away. Streetlights to councils, electricity infrastructure to councils, GPS boundaries for councils incorrect, no way user can select right provider if app has selected the wrong one, causes unnecessary emails, and slow as a wet week at fixing fundamental issues with the app even with quality feedback. I’d stay on NeatStreets if they’d update their app. |
