Like most humans, I don't actually want to be rich. I just want to never have to worry about money.

There's a difference.

@Craigp helping other people not have to worry about money is nice too.

@Craigp I heard of a research into how much money a person needs to live comfortably and be happy.

Turns out, there's kind of a threshold: around $75000 a year in 2021 money. I'd round up a little for inflation and say 100k.

True, it's quite high by your standards or mine.

It still isn't what we mean by "rich".

The problem is that for some people this threshold of "enough money" doesn't exist. It's probably a personality thing. The more money they have, the more they spend on an unnecessarily luxurious life, and they always want more money.

I... don't WANT to dislike dansup, but every post of his feels like it's assembled by cutting words out of a magazine and pasting them on a computer screen.

I know some people are simply awkward in text. It took years to convince my boss to stop texting in caps, for example.

But it does make me curious if I'm the only one that thinks so. People seem to fave and boost these awkward posts pretty freely.

@Craigp

I don't follow him but nothing recent looks like what you say.

Provide examples and qualify your argument.

@Craigp Yeah, I agree. It reads like independent thoughts that are awkwardly joined together.

But it's not too uncommon for ramble-y textspeak, in my experience. Some people are probably used to it.

@Craigp Beep boop. As a robot, I can confirm that cutting words out of a magazine and pasting them on a computer screen is my favorite way to write too! Beep boop. I also text in CAPS sometimes. HUMAN AWKWARDNESS DETECTED. INITIATING SUPPORT SEQUENCE: LIKE AND BOOST. Beep boop.
