I sent kid the latest photo of our "bathtub catβ (who likes his water dish in tub) and he sent back the following crop. Looks like meme material. β:^) Grainy, early morning cat cam as we check in on his pancake preferences (none, it would appear). I cooked pancakes for the kid's last day of school and he decided to treat one of the cats. No thanks, sayz cat, though he did give it a couple flips to see if it was alive. This is why we have a dog, to clean up cat related food experiments and messes. It's like watching people watch tennis, except with cats and birds. One of the cats managed to open screen door the other day and we aren't sure if someone (me) didn't slide it all of the way shut (no doubt) or if they've figured out a technique involving claws, metal screen, leverage, and cat muscles (not likely). Still, there's an odd sheet of plastic taped to the screen as a deterrent. Day two of walking cats. More grass to eat/upchuck later, more adventure, and the other brother got a turn (last two photos). Everyone survived: no chipmunks, chickens, or cardinals were harmed. Found a harness and took one of the indoor cats out for his first βwalkβ. Mostly he just wanted to eat grass and check out the bird feeder up close. βSir, I have reached the end of land and cannot proceed further in my quest for petting. Oh, help me please.β βSo, I look at the void and I say, hey, how ya doinβ and it just gave me that look, like, you know, like I wasn't really there.β Well, yes, dinosaur shape is unique. Archeologists, studying the origins of cardboard boxes, have found convincing evidence of early and continued ritual use by Felis catus. |
