Apparently after Elon's X takeover, they abandoned Twemoji. We're using Twemoji in Soapbox, but truthfully I hate how it looks and have been thinking about switching to Google emoji for a while. So, the Great Emojining maybe be inevitable.

People don't understand that the work being done on protocols today is exactly what was done decades ago, and it DOES have a chance of working.
