I understand, this isn't a properly reported issue. This person described their problem in a Subject line, it looks ugly.
I understand, I have a discord channel too to help people troubleshoot their issues. It's fine to quickly help them there, and there are some chances that the user might have Discord account.

But don't just go "join Discord to troubleshoot that". Why not to help this person here? Sure, Microsoft and GitHub can eat shit. But at least this issue will be crawled by every search engine out there and somebody might use the solution from here. On Discord, it's not possible. Discord doesn't even let you search messages from all chats you've joined.
