и ещё раз хочу напомнить, что опенсорц (и СПО тоже) - это про код, а не про какие-то личностные качества людей и их личную жизнь, которая никого не касается. единственное, что является критерием для таких проектов - это качественный, хороший код. а все СЖВшные попытки втащить в опенсорц политоту и левацкую повесточку надо гнать ссаными тряпками, прямо беспощадно. и слать на хер всяких любителей канселить разработчиков по национальному, политическому или ещё какому-нибудь признаку.

Одно дело - что-то делать потому что к тебе пришли товарищи в штатском и "вежливо" об этом попросили.
И совсем другое - рассказывать офигительные истории о том, как это хорошо и правильно и вообще ты финн, а все возражающие - либо тролли с фабрик, либо те кто их наслушался. Последнее вообще жесть и звучит в точности как наш закон об иноагентах. Только у нас таких называют махровыми ватниками, а у них - свободными уважаемыми людьми, похоже.

I guess some people have superpowers of knowing what's "good" for your health having not seen you once in their life. and they definitely know what's good for their pockets. so they impose their business plan to everyone, calling this a kind of panacea for some terrible killer virus. but there's a probability that some people died not from any virus but from the damage from that "vaccines" and from improper medical care. and I even know some people that suffered heavy consequences that drove them to ICU after a jab. so I avoided any jabs and lived my usual life. nobody was afraid of me for 46 years before. and suddenly some people became paranoid, freaky and even violent towards me because I was just unmuzzled. but I don't bite, no need for a muzzle. so I concluded the main problem of so-called "covid" was the mass paranoia and it affected mainly people's brains, that was the "virus" that was spread via mass media and it was worse than any flu. I lived my usual life, without any changes. I didn't wear any muzzles, because it's not good for lungs. I went everywhere, walked, met with my friends and relatives. yes, some of them were sick with "covid" but I didn't consider this a cause for ignoring them. sick people are still people, they need some help and care, not panickers reaction and forcedly incarcerating them in some leprosoriums like something subhuman. I was stunned at how inprofessional some medical personnel was. they behaved like mad men and did weird things. they "cured" virus with antibiotics. they used IVD although it's directly forbidden to use it if a patient's not in coma and can breath on his own. I wrote firmware for IVD in the past and I know for sure what for they were designed and what complications they may cause. using IVD can cause serious problems and bacterial infections on itself, even for healthy human. it's designed for critical cases when a patient does not breathe. and they blatantly misused them on patients that did not need it. that was terrible ignorance and something crazy. I observed such a panpopticum around that I was really scared. not by some imaginary virus threat but by the wilderness that momentally seized masses and spread faster than any known infection. I learnt one simple lesson: all the humanity and visible prosperity is a very fragile thing and can be easily broken and put the masses in depths of medieval obscurantism, madness and aggression. and fear is a powerful leverage for enslaving the masses without any weapons.
P.S. I see a friend request from you and I must clarify some things. I write the most posts in Russian and just some of them are in English and Italian. I fluently speak English and I know some other languages too but rarely use them, so probably following me can flood your feed with posts in unknown languages. I can accept invitation but I have warned you. I rarely write public posts because it's not safe for life to write what you think at where I live. so it's a forced measure. besides, I very rarely discuss politics: there's nothing to discuss, it's all clear as day. no need to poop the feeds all around with this, shaking the air in vain, so I try to write about usual life, nothing special. being a tea master I write a lot about tea but in Russian. I'm also a professional programmer but I don't write much about programming, since I'm not an enthusiastic noob and I've had more than enough of this to write about it daily. ah, yes, and music. skilled bassist, over 25 years of death metal and different underground scene, I ended up as an amateur opera singer :) things go weird sometimes. but I don't emphasize this, I'm making some progress but not feel like ready for serious record session yet. The development cycle for the 2024.09 release enters the last stage before the stable release – today we have branched off the 2024.09 release candid branch. 2024.09-rc contains all the features of the stable release and is meant to test the new features, find some last rough edges and smooth out the path to the final stable release at the end of October. 2024.09 will be mostly a maintenance release fixing issues in various parts of Friendica. If you want to help out in testing, please checkout the new 2024.09-rc branch and report problems that you encounter.
The most notable changes in this release are:
- we now support HLS and further improved the compatibility with Bluesky,
- we dropped the support of OStatus (the predecessor of ActivityPub) after evaluating the amount of active servers/contacts that are still only using this protocol,
- Friendica is now REUSE compliant and supports FEP-67ff

How to use the 2024.09 RC Version of Friendica
If you want to help in the release process, you can checkout the 2024.09-rc branch from the git repositories.

Note that you only need to pull the composer dependencies in the core repository.
Should the upgrade process of the database get stuck
If you encounter this, please initiate the DB update manually from the command line by running the script
./bin/console dbstructure update
from the base of your Friendica installation. If the output contains any error message, please let us know using the channels mentioned above.
What to do with Quirks
The 2024.09-rc phase is meant to identify and preferable resolve quirks and bugs that should not be in the 2024.09 release, but have slipped through so far. So if you switch your node to the 2024.09-rc version of Friendica, please let us know about rough edges you find, either at the issue tracker (github account required), in the support group or in the developers group.

I discovered there're a mailcious user account registered on your server:
DarthPutinKGB
that user performs illegal adding itself to users following lists across the Fediverse (without user following request, this is some vulnerability in code, I guess). moreover, it tries to change user statuses and to send messages from other users names, which fail because of key signatures check. I checked logs on my server to get this all.
I had seen more complains on it from other users on other servers.
I strongly recommend to delete that account and possibly ban its IP, if it's known.

хэдхантер официально подписался стучать и имеет какие-то странные сканеры портов на своём сайте. да, всё это можно заблокировать, и у меня стоят блоки против этой НЁХ, но это пиздец, господа, когда сайт ищет открытые порты на твоей машине. объяснить это какими-то нормальными целями просто невозможно.
отсюда вопрос: есть ли какие-то аналогичные сайты поиска работы?
возможно, а Федивёрсе есть что-то типа рассылок на эту тему (про fossjobs я в курсе, читаю, но там в основном вакансии для Европы и Америки, а у нас сейчас с этим, как известно, жожоба).
хочу:
- веб интерфейс
- профили юзеров опытом работы и скиллов, с поиском для работодателей.
- вакансии, с поиском. хорошо, если он контекстный (чтобы можно было, например, задать ключевые скиллы или слова).
- хорошо, если сайт имеет айтишный/программистский профиль в специфике профессий. на общих сайтах поиска работы уж очень расплывчатые понятия "IT и программирование" и прочие подобные общие термины.
- отсутствие связей с государством Эрефия, по понятным причинам, и желания стучать и доносить.
- чтобы не было дурного нацизма и канселинга клиентов из России, который сейчас набирает обороты. блокировки сайтов в Эрефии я переживу, это не играет роли.

there was no problems (well, if something can go relatively well the past crazy years) but I bumped into absolutely weird problem with LinkedIn a couple of days ago, that appeared out of a thin air.

it began from the post by Mojeek (https://mastodon.social/@Mojeek/113191452864210676) about security issue on LinkedIn that required turning off some settings in profile. it's fine, I dislike so called "AI" a lot and don't feel like I want to share my data with some stupid bots. I logged in and turned it off in my profile. done.
but I noticed a red warning that claimed that my primary email was "incorrect" in some way and LinkedIn could not use it for sending notifications. what could go wrong with email that I used for over a decade? I checked the email, just to get sure. it worked fine, as expected. it's "life-time" email account at Linux Foundation and it simply redirects emails to my own mail server that also works fine. I even requested assistance from Linux Foundation and they assured me they didn't filter any emails there and the redirection works, as it always did. nobody but LinkedIn had any problems with it.
account on LinkedIn also worked fine... until I requested their support.
well, I decided to refer to LinkedIn support service. and it was a big mistake! I never used it before but situation with the email was strange: my account was fine, the secondary email was fine, but the primary email was ignored by their engine by some misterious reason and I could not fix this myself via their interface. so I created a support ticket (warning: never repeat this dangerous experiment!).
the next day I got three emails from LinkedIn. to my primary email, that worked fine, as expected. so, they could normally send emails to it and all their claims about "incorrectness" of my primary email were just... fucking bullshit a mistake? well, just a note.
the first was an acknoledgment for user request ticket. the second was apologies for delay in responce and told that my request was passed to "another group for additional review and advice". and the third... the third email was a notification that my account on LinkedIn was... blocked because of no reason and to regain access to it I need to supply some "additional info" to confirm I don't know what. they wanted some ID:

You will be providing your ID to Persona for verification. If you want LinkedIn to have access to that data so that we can help you directly, you will need to share the data with LinkedIn.
what's the damn "Persona" and why the heck I should leak my sensitive personal information to that unknown third-party noname?
hey, guys I have an account, a login, a password on your site. I have an email linked to that account that didn't change for ages. what else, the heck? this is just a free account, no engagements.
just for curiosity I followed the link supplied in the email and discovered there was an QR-code with demand to supply some "legal ID from my smartphone". well. fact number one: I don't use smartphones, for security reasons. I use only free software. I know there're some few open hardware models but I just don't have so much spare time to tinker with building my own image for a smartphone, in addition to all other software that I build from sources. I just don't need smartphone, really, so I don't bother. fact number two: I don't have any "legal IDs" or whatever that could be. I have a passport but I don't consider it as a smart idea to share its secure data with random unknown actors on the net. the requirement of supplying passport data to some third-party site sounds like a scam to me and it literally is.
and yes, my account on LinkedIn that I used since 2010s, as far as I can remember, got blocked and this stupid requirement of "legal ID from smartphone" persists. I can't login, cannot access my contacts there or answer to employers offers, nothing.
I wrote a long rant on this all in reply to the email and now wait for an answer. I never broke any rules, used LinkedIn only for job search (and found some offeres there, really) and communication with possible employers. my address is not in any blacklists or something. and I didn't expect blocking me for just creating a damn user support ticket.
I don't rely on anything good and possiblility of normal solution for this weird situation that much, really, but anyway some part of me hopes the common sense still exsists somewhere in the Universe.

so I must warn people over here that might have old LinkedIn accounts: never use LinkedIn support system. it's stupid, senseless and dangerous. it does not solve any problems, it creates them! they may block your account and extort your sensitive personal data just because you requested some assistance once in a decade. just incredible idiocy.
