I haven't really noticed a slowdown in content on Mastodon to be honest, yet I've seen several articles in major outlets claiming that people are leaving Mastodon. The one from Business Insider said it was because Mastodon is too hard which makes no sense, since if people had already joined Mastodon, they got past the hard part.
