@Sarahp

Not only that, he's changing it so that you can only sue #Xitter in a very friendly TX court district where the judge has strong ties to #ElonMusk

@Sarahp This is likely going to happen and it's going to be the funniest thing ever

@Sarahp It's a great pitch but it doesn't really solve the problem they raise in the "sell sheet," that you have to have accounts on all those distributed networks for the app to work

Pierre

@Sarahp thanks for bringing this to my attention! I haven’t used nostr and only setup a BlueSky. How do you like the app and the other networks?

@Sarahp has it recently taken a turn for the even worse? I log in occasionally for a volunteer gig and I was just struck by how scuzzy everything felt today. Feels like the kind of site that gives your computer a virus.

#ios #app #developers with a global user base, would love to hear how the #DMA is (or is not) changing how you plan to do business. Reply here or sarahp @ techcrunch.com or (415) 234-3994 on signal

@Sarahp Did not expect the annual report to make news but am pleasantly surprised ☺️

@Sarahp interestingly, an article from TechCrunch is balanced and overall positive about a free and open source, decentralised network. That's a sign that things are changing.

@Sarahp this needs to be done for porn collections.

@Sarahp If this gets somewhat tight integration with Mastodon, I'm certainly going to use it as well. It might solve the issue that interesting things often get buried on feed-based systems which makes them hard to find again when needed. Great initiative. :blobcatthumbsup:

@Sarahp I see it too. Downloaded, using now, seems nice and familiar. Mastodon picking up steam!

Mammoth will be demo'ing next week at #FediForum, together with about a dozen other interesting fediverse apps.

I'd personally wait till it officially becomes open source before trying it, but at least it claims it will be soon. Could be worse, could be some company making a shamelessly ad and tracking ridden app to cash in on the collapse of Twitter.

@Sarahp WriteFreely is simpler, I always found wordpress difficult to use. The closer the blogging platform is to a word processor the better.

@Sarahp excited to see when it’s available on Wordpress.com. It’s remained a ‘good enough’ fit for me for years now, but I don’t pay for custom plug-ins.
