I want to register Fediverse accounts for two of my open-source projects: Mycorrhiza (https://mycorrhiza.wiki), the wiki engine, and Betula, the bookmarking program. Guppe groups don't spark joy. Tags cannot be mentioned. I think a Mastodon or a Mastofork is what I need. I want to be on an instance with other FLOSS projects. I won't be able to donate/pay. I'll be writing in English. And #Betula soon, too. Two options: 1. Write out the explicit instruction on how to overcome the limitation. Expect them to care. 2. Migrate to a different forge, which is able to handle Google's DDoS. Uhm, @Codeberg, how's your situation with that?
