Both the lead characters in Dennō Coil are named Yūko (ゆうこ), but their names are spelled with different kanji.

Yūko Okonogi's name is spelled 優子, with the same kanji of 優しい (yasashii) = kind or gentle.

Her nickname uses this alternate reading of 優, turning Yūko in to Yasako.

The registration procedure is the typical mess of Japanese government apps, going back and forth between app and website, long instruction screens, countdown timers, unreasonably strict form validation, email confirmation that doesn't work...

And there's even this interstitial for an upcoming website that prevents me from reading the instructions and can't be dismissed (Close is not really a link, wtf...)
