@xssfox In the US a lot of people assume that one post code only exists in a single town/city and they get really confused by my zip code, which is serviced by Seattle, covers three other towns which are not Seattle (Shorewood, White Center, and Burien), and the post office asks that all mailings to this zip code are addressed to Seattle, even if you're in one of the other towns. This morning I had a realization that I used to feel a lot better when I had a soundtrack playing during every waking hour, which stopped for stupid reasons which no longer apply. So I am now listening to music and feeling so much better. https://www.last.fm/user/plaidfluff if you want to follow along with my questionable musical choices. I do wish that last.fm let you change your username without losing your scrobble history, because "plaidfluff" was my old fallback username and I don't use it anymore, but I've been using last.fm on and off pretty much since it launched ugh, one of my jars of rice has been infested with booklice. what should I do about it? I'm not sure how the booklice got in. It's a smaller portion of grains from a 5-pound bag, and the greater bag doesn't show any signs of infestation, and also I'd thoroughly cleaned and dried the jar before I filled it. As far as I can tell none of my other dry food containers (rice or otherwise) have been infested. Wikihow suggests putting the rice into the freezer for a few days to kill the lice and then I guess I could use a strainer to filter out the little corpses. Voting ended 3 Jun 2023 at 7:00. @scanlime I had experiences with some of the transitional HD CRTs which led me to believe there were scan-frequency reasons involved but that could have just been an implementation detail common to HD CRTs @fluffy @scanlime have you seen @mjg59 post about how resolution choices from the 1930s are still causing problems in the EDID structures? https://mjg59.dreamwidth.org/8705.html |
