In a move that absolutely no one asked for:
I am porting the Windows Vista/7 desktop Gadgets to Wayland with some GTK sorcery.

These widgets are actually zip files with web resources plus some metadata.
I got the Machine CPU and RAM stats working, along with some of Microsoft's weird JS API's.

Screenshot from my desktop showing 3 widgets randomly arranged. One widget is a CPU and RAM monitor shaped like engine RPM gauges. Another is an analogue clock. The last gadget is another CPU monitor with bar stats per CPU-core.

@polyfloyd Awesome!

I wish Win10 had this stuff. And desktop sticky notes. And the ability to tablet scribble on the desktop. Windows has had so many sweet features.
