The Winamp source code is here! (and it has a horrendous license that people are rightfully complaining about already)

@pixel i had to close the tab for my wellbeing this sounds like a decision taken alone in an afternoon by clueless execs hot take: Electron apps would be half as bad if the runtime was shared instead of being shipped for every single application. It at least would get sizes down to a few handfuls of megabytes instead of several hundred per application. (I know the technicalities of some programs using forks/etc. but this is a "would be" post anyway)

@pixel@desu.social I think Tauri does this Wouldn't do a thing for CPU load or memory usage. You're still running a full-fledged multi-process browser for each such app. Just saw that Google started offering .nexus as TLDs looked into buying https://torment.nexus and it's already taken and a Mastodon instance is running on it glorious actually, this passes

The State of Twitter summed up in a byline in a blogpost: "The Verge tried to reach out to Twitter for comments, but Twitter does not have a communications team anymore." GitLab CI statuses as emoji, because I can :gitlab_ci_failed: :gitlab_ci_warning: :gitlab_ci_success: you know what, I added the rest as well :gitlab_ci_skipped: :gitlab_ci_pending: :gitlab_ci_cancelled: :gitlab_ci_running: |
@pixel I wasn’t expecting this, and even though it violates our ToS, I do believe that APIs should be open.
Officially I’m not impressed, unofficially I am impressed and won’t hinder unauthorized 3rd party access.
Btw, you and @h should help me define the v1 schema, I’m aware of 3 devs who plan to build 3rd party clients and would love your help in an official fashion!
This would normally lead to legal action, but here in the fediverse, you are doing my work for me ✨
