synchronised duckbutt.

two ducks with orange feet, one black and white, and the other mottled brown, are upside down in the water. there is one duck near the bottom of the image, and one duck near the top of the image, and they look a bit like they're doing synchronised swimming. the water is blue and grey and white, with ripple patterns around the ducks creating a painted effect.

behind her are some out-of-focus pieces of wooden furniture and a black television screen.
this was taken last year, but it seems necessary today somehow.

behind that is just white, glaring white. there's actually a window there, but the sun is so bright that if i set the exposure so the window was visible, the cat wouldn't have been.
it is very very warm. we are all very very warm. she likes to sit here, as she gets the breeze from the fan (when it's on).
