happy halloween, #indieweb ! đ the spooky edition of our monthly newsletter from the #32bitcafe features our participants of the halloween event, what our community members have been talking about around the cafe, blog posts from members, and @moxiemoshpit as our site spotlight! đ»
the https://32bit.cafe team ( @yequari, @flamed, jay, & @cooperationiskey) did a group interview for the FROM THE SUPERHIGHWAY newsletter! so so so cool to feel seen with what we're doing and be able to answer thoughtful questions about the #indieweb and hobby web development :)
the #32bitcafe is hosting our first webweaving workshop for personal #website owners! come to our one-hour session to talk all things personal websites: what youâre making, what you need help with, and what you want to explore.
if you're unfamiliar with what we do, head over to https://32bit.cafe to learn more about us and jump into our workshop if you're up for hanging out with a bunch of webdev hobbyists!

âwe can build the web we want to see.â â@molly0xfff
and thereâs communities of us who are doing just that! if mollyâs talk resonated with you, please check out the #indieweb and #smallweb hashtags on mastodon. look into the âpersonal web,â tilde communities, and follow the threads of the web that arenât being spoonfed to you by algorithms. â€ïž (and canât help but plug our community https://32bit.cafe doing this too!)

This site is really slick. And Iâm a fan of the theming in particular (itâs a green summer). Have you checked your accessibility?
Something in the way youâre swapping the panel class elements with the navigation links doesnât allow easy navigation with VoiceOver on my phone. I had to swipe through numerous visually hidden elements.
