I dont forget Nazis nor do I forgive them, though if they wish to renounce their hate and adhere to a long since burned social contract, they're nominally, cautiously welcome to give it a shot & do the lifelong work to prove it.

Big fan of cancel culture actually.* I just call it 'accountability', 'consequences' or the FO part of FAFO. *(Also a fan of the converse- positive reinforcement for courage, justice, equity-mindedness.) Listening to true crime cases from the 80s that "D&D Satanism scare" was some wild shit. Was everywhere, propagated by sheriffs, detectives, unquestioning media, & the in-person equivalent of your out there Facebook relative. Normies been fucked up about a lot of things for a long time.

@hannu_ikonen was one of the first times I realized my mom was actually pretty cool. I was a super into it first gen D&D kid also into heavy metal. She didn't take that stuff seriously at all, treated it like the joke it was. @hannu_ikonen Not to mention they always found a local psychiatrist (no offence) for a sound bite for TV to backup how "violently damaging" to a child physic D&D could be, on top of punk culture, video games, television, film, rock music, music videos and comic books and so on :blobcatglance: |

As with any extremist #ideology I would like to separate #people who have acted on their beliefs from people who have thought / talked about them. Both fit the label, but with a dramatic difference in guilt.
I try to put myself in their shoes; if I grew up in an #extremist environment, would I really turn out different?
