#Nitter is an AGPLv3 licensed #Twitter frontend with all the features of the default site -- but more importantly -- it returns all of the freedom that Twitter's nonfree JavaScript takes away from you. Try out one of the instances at nitter.net

@fsf There's also a browser addon called LibRedirect (github.com/libredirect/libredi) that automatically redirects you to a random nitter instance when you open a twitter link. This also works for other sites like Reddit to Libreddit or YouTube to Invidious/Piped.

There's also Privacy Redirect (github.com/SimonBrazell/privac), which does basically the same thing but has a lot less features. I use that on Iceraven because I can't download LibRedirect there.

@fsf I use it any time I need to look at a post on Twitter, especially when you throw it into an RSS reader.

Nonfree JavaScript may be taking away your freedom without your realizing it! Many Web sites require proprietary JavaScript. Nonfree JavaScript subjugates users in the same way as any piece of proprietary software. Learn more: u.fsf.org/freejs
