I think that #ActivityPub developers ought to subject their platforms to some kind of standardized compatability testing, but I also think that there should be a reference implementation conformant to the spec that isn't #Mastodon.

Hey! So, uh, I made something. It's really kind of an amateur effort, and I realize that there's probably a lot of things I could improve / do better.

I wanted to make all of the project tags on @wedistribute@mastodon.social have cool icons across the site for tags and stuff. So, I stuffed all the SVGs I could find, and did a lot of conversions to make a rudimentary icon set.

This is Fediverse Social Icons. Yeah, there's some things that need to be fixed. It was originally just for the website, but I thought I'd share it with everybody.

Covering #Pixelfed development is a challenge because Dan somehow does so much. I'm hoping to put out at least one Pixelfed news piece each day this week, featuring all the amazing work going into the platform.
