I just love deranged twitter users, you know. Making your software closed source because you don't want fascists to use it is something new to me. :rms: would be proud!
@newt i think the only reason that they are cool is that they fully embraced being niche professional tools instead of competing for mass adoption against the apple, samsung and xiaomi ones.
The artist I hired for pleroma-tan artwork bailed on me, citing her personal issues. Quite unfortunate! But worry not, I'll hire another. Meanwhile, here's half-finished examples of what could have been.
#feditips when making purchases online, you can totally give the store any name you want instead of your real one. This has a lot of benefits including:
* When a clerk calls you by name, you already know which store the call is from
* You can trace where your data was leaked from, should this happen
* This also screws with profiling and data gathering

I'm glad to announce the new Pleroma fork that will end all forks! Behold, Pleroma Forkbomb!
Every time you install and run Pleroma Forkbomb, it'll notify our server and a new name for the fork will be generated from some random syllables + "oma", thus making each new installation receive a new unique fork name. Furthermore, after each fork, the repo will be renamed and a new domain name will be registered.
No more need to manually fork Pleroma! We fully automate this process for you, so that you can just relax and enjoy the quality drama.
Our plans also include having each fork receive a random set of controversial features, like Quote Reposts, Custom Emoji Reactions, Groups, Cat Ears, Gargron Bot, and more. Stay tuned!

@newt Now that I know some Russian it's so much fun to find common vocabulary and structure in Slavic languages, in addition to Romance and Germanic ones.
At a guess It looks like "twój" is "твой", "jest" is "есть", and "w" is "в". I don't know any Polish but if I'm right that could mean that Polish has a slightly more rigorous way of expression existence and presence than Russian.
