That’s a handy terminal shortcut I just learned from @stefan:

Ctrl + X followed by Ctrl + E opens the currently typed command in your $EDITOR of choice.

If you want to use VS Code, you need to use `EDITOR="code --wait"` for this to work.

I started contributing meta data like opening hours, business websites, social media links and Wi-Fi to @openstreetmap. With @organicmaps this is not too hard and kinda fun.

I encourage you to do the same and start with your hometown for example. You can usually get most of the information from the business’s or public facility’s website.

This is a great alternative to Candy Crush or whatever to fill idle time. And instead of burning money for loot boxes, you contribute to a fantastic project.
