It was all “fiduciary responsibility to the investors” but what about the responsibility to Twitter’s users? All the people for whom it is a lifeline for fundraising or because they have nobody IRL? Those who rely on accessibility features that were unceremoniously yanked? Those who built whole communities and careers on there? Those who used it to stay safe from gun violence and natural disasters? It was a public service.
I will never stop being mad, and I’m really not that mad at Elon because I knew what he was already. I’m mad at Parag and Jack and all the people that sold out while at the same time pretending not much would change.
