The whole world witnessed putin’s mental decline. I’m sure many russians started to sweat nervously during this „interview”. For many fans it was a proof that „dear leader” is having issues with comprehending reality.

Putin's mental decline and hence a thought that a demented old man stands at the helm of the nuclear power isn't the only striking takeaway for me. As opposed to USA in arguably similar situation with Trump or some would even say Biden there seem to be no functioning weights and balances to the freewheeling craziness of Putin. There is no Senate, House or even Cabinet that can say: "What are you doing? This is nuts!"

With all due respect but I wouldn't put Biden in the same category. Not even close. Biden may be old but he still can clearly distinguish between good and evil. And he still has good people around him. Unlike both putin and trump who are completely evil and surrounded by sycophants.

I agree, I think personally Biden is very likeable and approachable person. But there are voices on both sides of the spectrum telling that both Trump and Biden are too old. The difference being of course in my personal view that Trump in contrast to Biden was never smart. But the team of professionals surrounding every POTUS is THE key. A team which Putin as demonstrated by Carlson interview doesn't seem to possess. He's surrounded himself with lackeys.
