FPF (my org) has worked with ProPublica a bunch, if we can help with DigiSec, SecureDrop, or just kicking around ideas (stronger fedi presence for nonprofit media?), don't hesitate to reach out.

@ben So if there is one thing various boy/girlfriends of my kids will remember about me is that I stopped them “Sir”ing me real quick. I just hope, sir, that you said that in jest, sir likewise!! :-)

@J12t I use it as a jovial term of endearment, but this reminds me that I used to work with someone who'd been in the Royal Navy who *haaaated* it. I should probably put it in mothballs.

@ben That’s what I thought, too, and then the first boyfriend showed up (who had been in the armed forces) and actually meant it! Wasn’t prepared for that, I tell you! At least the scene caused great big amusement for my girl, probably about both of us.
