@CriticalCupcake it'll take a worldwide pivot to neglect the war table. If only some countries do it I believe the rest will stay put and bully the others into submission. The Russian war on Ukraine is a good example of this, as others stated.

There are historical failures that are promising change, though. The Vietnam War outcome must have grounded the USA in some fashion, as did McCarthyism consequences, and the (current?) war on drugs.
