@jessamyn @petersuber @OpenAlex Hopefully you find a way to "claim" some works, and disclaim others. Let me know!

@mike @jessamyn @petersuber @OpenAlex I too would love it if there were a way to curate lists. I need to check to see if there is a way to restrict searches to 'peer-reviewed items only', as there seems to be a lot of what I would consider chaff ... @mike @jessamyn @petersuber @OpenAlex ... or more generally to correct metadata. I appreciate that it's a SUPER hard problem (e.g., how do you validate suggested corrections/edits at scale?), but otherwise lots of manual post-processing is needed. One trivial example: two redundant entries here - https://openalex.org/works?page=1&filter=authorships.author.id%3AA5021063042,type%3Abook&sort=cited_by_count%3Adesc&group_by=publication_year,open_access.is_oa,authorships.institutions.lineage,type |
@mike @jessamyn @petersuber @OpenAlex The odd result upon searching for my own name was that so many unrelated (to me) results showed up because of the abbreviation "Bodl." referring to the Bodleian Library.
Truncation is not always your friend.
