Recently we got some underliners for our cushions, to help elevate them to keep them dry. We got a sheet of a knock-off, and then today we got a sheet of the real deal to compare.

Curious to see how both will perform this winter. The knock-off is definitely not as strong structurally, but will probably still help.

a photo of two types of moisture prevention underliners, consisting of a series of thickly-coiled polypropylene strands. In the photo, Genuine hypervent is on the bottom left, and a knock-off at the top right.

We installed them just in time, because it's gonna go to -10°C tonight, and temps will stay cold for a long while...
It is snowing a bit right now :>... very light though.

@rek hope you stay warm enough. I was on my boat last night and was wishing for better insulation. Glad to be on land tonight.

@rek yeah, in this case I was on shore power so had an electric heater. There’s also a diesel heater but it wouldn’t be up to this weather at all.

@rek Our boat came with something like that (from a PO) and we never had any condensation under the cushions. I concluded that it works great :)
