I was at my parents house and look what I've got from there: an IDE hard drive!
This one is a Maxtor D540X-4K. Surprisingly it works, but no data was on it :/
As far as I could find, this model is capable of ATA-100 speeds (100 MB/sec), running at cool 5400 RPM and have capacity of 40 GB.
I've tried to scan it with smartctl, but "Not in smartctl database 7.3/5528"
Anyway, pretty cool artifact from old times 😃
