@pluralistic Great to see you in this place! I literally just re-read EST yesterday. It has aged well, but I was amused to note that this time I interpreted it as much more of a dystopian cautionary tale. I think my earlier techno-optimism blinded me to that when I first read it almost 20 years ago.
