No unit mismatches? Converting between Celsius, Fahrenheit, Réaumur, Kelvin, or Rankine may be confusing, even for U.S. folks. For that archive you mentioned, I recommend the Kiwix Offline Reader (via Fdroid, f-droid.org/packages/org.kiwix)

@sven_ola @bhawthorne @dahie Celsius: Used by ordinary people in most of the world
Fahrenheit: Used by ordinary people in the US
Réaumur: Used by historians of science in the 18th century and people who wish to be confusing
Rømer: Used by historians of science in the 18th century who want to be *extra* confusing
Kelvin: Used by proud geeks and nerds throughout the world, though not normally for recipes.
Rankine: Used only by centenarian+ engineers in the US or UK (again, not normally for recipes), or by people who love cursed units

@dpnash @sven_ola @dahie I use Celsius for everything except the oven and that only because my spouse won’t let me change the units on the oven.

I am pretty sure your spouse has incompatibilities when you start altering a central kitchen thingy with a permanent marker :awesome:

Besides that, on this occasion I tested an Kiwix Zim file, a mirror copy of cooking.stackexchange.com with a sad result: works partially, cannot display result e.g. cooking.stackexchange.com/ques

Kiwiks Wikipedia.en in contrast works well, would recommend if your phone has 100 Gb spare space. Comes in handy when in-the-woods
