Here's a little video about the new color film stock from Harman/Ilford, Phoenix 200. Previously Kodak had the only factory producing color film, so this is very exciting.

@Gargron I ordered a roll to try. I wish they'd release it in 100ft/30m rolls for bulk loading, that would be cost effective for them and for users. I'm hopeful since they do release their Ilford brand in bulk rolls.

@gargron AIR Ilford were never really known for their colour film so does this mean that film is making a serious comeback?

@Gargron
Really, color film coming from Ilford? It's such a grey place.

@Gargron A new emulsion is always welcome! And to be backed by a company with a great reputation like Harman is great. That halation tho, puts it in a specific category for sure.

@Gargron How are yall getting film (especially color) developed these days?

Eugen Rochko

@caroline Larger cities usually have at least one lab, if I'm not in a larger city I send it to one through mail.

Caroline

@Gargron how expensive is it typically? I remember 10 years ago trying and it was like $20 / roll just for the film.

Eugen Rochko

@caroline That sounds about right on average. It's about the same for the development and scanning service.
